Citizenship WIthout illusions: A Christian Guide to political Engagement (Event Concluded)
There is a lot of discussion about polarization in society and within the church. David Koyzis offers a theologically informed guide to reflect upon how we live faithfully as citizens of the Kingdom of heaven while we participate in public life on the earth. Writing from a Reformed theological perspective, Koyzis has been favorably reviewed for his depth, accessibility, evenhandedness, and brevity. The book has discussion questions for each chapter. Participants are asked to purchase the book. While helpful, it is not required that you read the book to attend and participate.
We will meet 5 times on Thursday evenings in Midtown at or near our worship location (130 W 56th Street) from 7:00PM to 8:30PM: January 30th, February 6th, February 13th, February 20th, and February 27th.
